Philippines, 20 Peso 2010



Observe: A younger profile of Manuel L. Quezon, Filipino as the national language 1935, the Malacañang Palace, new logo of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (Central Bank of the Philippines), the coat-of-arms of the Philippines and the phrase "Pinagpala ang bayan na ang Diyos ay ang Panginoon" translated in english as "Blessed are the people that the God is the Lord", it is the filipino version for the united States one dollar- "In God we trust".
Reverse: The Banaue Rice Terraces, a Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus Philippinensis)Cordilleras weave design, and a map of the Philippines pointing the Banaue Rice Terraces.

Finally after 25 years of the new design series 20 peso, the central bank releases its new counterpart. The new features of this banknote insures that this note are real and not fake. The new 20 peso design started to came out of the banks on the last week of december 2010. Some were excited to see the changes over the 20 pesos note but reffered this new design similar to a play money because of its bright orange color. The new 20 peso note is expected to be fully circulating on the last week of march 2011.
